ZOOM IN ONE HOUR (2 pm ET / 11 am PT): Folks, many of you heard that Dr. Fauci was grilled by Congress on whether Covid might have been the result of botched animal experiments. This presents a key opportunity for us, and I’ll be sharing more today about how we can harness the national media around Fauci into a broader movement to save all the dogs (and other animals) from labs.
I’ll also take questions you have about the campaign, including why we are pushing back the rescue and why it’s just as important that we keep the option of a future rescue in our pocket when the moment comes.

Folks, we are going to meet today at 2 PM ET / 11 am PT and also try to set a weekly Zoom meeting time for the Save the Dogs campaign. We have some important updates regarding our strategy for bringing criminal charges against Marshall—including insight from key stakeholders with relationships in Congress. We are also going to give you an update on the Right to Rescue criminal case that will have a preliminary hearing for 47 of the 51 defendants around the week of Sept 6 (the same weekend that we plan to hold a Right to Rescue summit).

Hey folks, as we are two weeks out and we did not get as many ticket sales as projected, the NYC summit team has decided to instead offer a scaled down version of the event. Instead of a four day leadership summit, we will instead be offering a daylong nonviolence training. If NYC is not very far from you, we encourage you to come! July 31-August 2 will be a weekend of action to save the dogs at Marshall BioResources.
We are hoping that as many cities as possible (nationally & internationally) will organize protests at a corporate office or laboratory owned by a company that purchases dogs from MBR. Let's call these companies out for puppy torture.
No matter where in the world you live, there is probably an MBR affiliate near you. If you need help finding one, email internationalcoordination@dxe.io for assistance.
This is a great opportunity to build momentum around the campaign against MBR and for the end of animal experimentation in the US. It is also a great opportunity to mobilize people who love dogs but haven't yet joined the animal rights movement, so be sure to promote these events as widely as possible!
